Nano Brow & Microblading FAQ
What are nano brows?
Nano Brows, or "Machine strokes" are a semi-permanent cosmetic technique and form of brow tattooing that uses ultra-fine needle cartridges and a slow/low voltage tattoo machine to create precise and natural-looking hair strokes on the eyebrows.
What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique where we insert color pigment into the upper layers of your skin. We create realistic and natural-looking hair using a hand-held tool to create thin and lightweight strokes, then we manually rub or deposit ink into the stroke.
Is eyebrow tattooing painful?
Most clients feel little to no pain. We apply a high-quality topical anesthetic to numb the area before we begin, as well as a secondary numbing throughout the procedure. You may experience some redness and slight swelling after.
How often do I need a touch-up?
Both Nano Brows & Microblading are a two step process. After your initial appointment, you will come back between 6 and 8 weeks for a touchup. After the initial touchup, depending on your skin type and product use, we recommend you come back once per year to keep your brows looking fresh, but many clients are happy with their results for longer and the average "Annual" touchup takes place every 18-24 months.
I already have microblading from another artist. Can I still book with you?
If you have previous microblading or eyebrow pmu, a consultation is required to determine if we can work on your brows. Please note that we do not offer touchups over other artists work- this will be considered a new client appointment.
How do I prep for my brow appointment?

How do I take care of my brows after the appointment?
To achieve the best results, it is imperative that you follow the aftercare instructions given to you by your brow artist. It’s normal for the area be slightly tender, itchy and appear darker for a few days as the skin develops a thin scab. Scabs will begin peeling about 4-7 days after your procedure. When the scabs fall off, your permanent makeup may appear lighter than you expected. You may also see that the strokes have disappeared completely. Don't worry- this is a normal part of the healing process. The skin is regenerating and the pigment will start to come back as it heals. Any necessary adjustments will be made at your touchup appointment, 6 weeks after your initial appointment. The entire healing process takes a few weeks, and everyone's skin heals differently. Be patient and trust the process!
Aftercare Instructions:
For the first several hours after your appointment, pat your brows with a clean paper towel every 30 to 60 min to keep off any lymph/fluid drainage.
Cleanse your brows right before you go to bed and apply your first layer of the provided healing lotion.
Gently cleanse your brows with antibacterial soap every morning and night for the next 10 days.
Apply a fresh layer of healing lotion with clean hands 2-3 times a day for the next 10 days.
Absolutely no sun, sweat or steam for two weeks.
Don’t get the procedure area wet for at least 2 weeks, except for when washing your brows.
Don’t touch, rub, pick, peel or scratch your brows. This is extremely important for retention.
Don’t apply lightening products (such as retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids, hydroquinone, etc.) for at least 2 weeks.
Don’t apply makeup or any other creams and lotions except your healing lotion to your eyebrows until after your brows have healed (about 2 weeks).
Don’t expose healing skin to direct sun or tanning beds, hot tubs, saunas, pools or direct shower spray for about one month after your procedure. After this, apply sunscreen to prolong your retention.
Don’t tweeze or wax your brow area for at least two weeks after your procedure.
Sleep on your back during the healing process so you do not disrupt the scabs.

Brow Lamination / Tint FAQ
What is brow lamination?
Brow Lamination is a perming treatment that sets the hairs in place using a chemical solution to manipulate the brow hairs in the desired shape/direction. This service creates a beautiful full and fluffy brow!
How long does brow lamination last?
With proper aftercare, you can expect your lamination to last up to 6 weeks.
What should I avoid before my appointment?
Brow Lamination is not recommended if you are currently using any retinol or retin-A. Please discontinue use at least one week before your scheduled appointment. If you have had any kind of chemical peel, or microdermabrasion, please wait at least 2 weeks before scheduling your Brow Lamination appointment.
How often can I get my brows laminated?
We recommend waiting 6 weeks in between appointments. During this time, you can (and should!) apply castor oil to your brows to help stimulate growth and nourish the hairs.
How long does brow tinting/staining last?
Results vary depending on skin type, but can last up to 4 weeks on the hair and 1-2 weeks on the skin. The tint will usually look darker immediately after the appointment and fade significantly and gracefully once you wash your face.
What if I’m not happy with my brows?
If you are not happy for any reason, we will always do whatever we can to find a solution. Changes or adjustments can usually be made depending on circumstance. We unfortunately do not offer refunds for services rendered.
Lip Blushing / Lining FAQ
What is Lip Blushing?
Lip blushing is the most popular cosmetic tattoo trend in permanent makeup today. It is a safe and long-lasting procedure that creates the appearance of fuller, flushed and younger-looking lips.
In essence, it is a cosmetic lip tattoo that highlights the lips’ natural beauty while enhancing the lip shape, adding definition at the vermillion border, and creating the illusion of fullness (natural lip shape).
As we age, our lips become paler and thinner, and we lose definition of the lip line. Lip blushing will restore the lost color and add symmetry to the lips, making them appear fuller and younger.
Say goodbye to cakey lipsticks and messy glosses. With a permanent lip color enhancement, you can achieve the lips you have always wanted.
How long does lip blushing last?
Lip blushing can last anywhere between 1 and 5 years, depending on the individual. The average time is about 2.5 years before a color boosting session is desired.
Is lip blushing even worth it?
Absolutely! Here is a list of benefits you experience with a Permanent Lip Blushing Treatment:
A long lasting color that never smears or gets on your teeth.
Full, pouty lips without the need for surgery or injections.
Adds symmetry and vibrancy to your facial features.
Adds a youthful, flushed appearance to aging lips.
You can still wear lipstick and gloss over your permanent lip color if you wish.
Who are the best candidates for the treatment?
This PMU procedure is ideal for lips that:
Are too pale.
Have lost definition and shape.
Have lost fullness.
Are uneven or asymmetrical.
Have scars or injuries.
How do I prepare for my lip blushing appointment?
No caffeine on the morning of your appointment.
No workout on the day of your appointment.
No alcohol on the night before your appointment.
Drink lots of water at least 48 hours before.
IF YOU ARE PRONE TO COLD SORES: Begin to take antivirals 4 days before the appointment.
Discontinue blood thinning medications including ibuprofen, aspirin and Aleve 5 days before.
Discontinue vitamin E and fish oil supplements 5 days before.
Exfoliate your lips twice a day 1 week before your appointment.
IF YOU USE LIP FILLER: It is best to do so at least 1 month before your appointment.
What should I expect at my lip blush appointment?
Depending on the lip aesthetic you choose, the treatment may take 2-3 hours. To ensure your comfort, a high quality numbing cream will be applied before the mapping (drawing the desired shape) process of your lips. You will get to actively participate in the creation and refinement of the lip shape. Note that after the first session, your lips will be a little bit puffy/swollen and the color will be much brighter than the target color. After a few days or so, the lip will settle down and reveal a softer version of the chosen color.
How do I take care of my lips to achieve the best results?
During the first 4 hours post treatment, wipe/blot your lips with a clean, dampened tissue or cotton ball to eliminate the build up of fluids.
After the first 4 hours, consistently apply small amounts of Aquaphor to keep the lips constantly moisturized.
Make sure your hands are clean or use a Q-tip.
Drink liquids through a straw.
Eat bite sized manageable food.
Avoid spicy, oily and salty food.
When brushing your teeth, apply Aquaphor on your lips first to eliminate water and toothpaste from getting on the lips.
Avoid swimming pools, saunas, hot tubs etc. until lips have healed (approx. 1 week).
Do not allow sweating for about 1 week.
No smoking for 1 week.
No kissing for 1 week.
Avoid the sun and tanning booths and always use a sunblock when exposed to UVB/UVA.
For long term care keep Retin-A’s, AHD/BHA’s and other exfoliants away from the lip area.
